Progress Report

There have been a lot of people asking about the progress of my book lately, so I thought I’d give a little progress report.

I have the primary plot completely written beginning middle and end. There are still a few kinks I need to iron out, but it’s mostly completely. I’ve just started writing a subplot that will be woven through the main story line. At this point I’m maybe twenty percent of the way through writing that. Once I have the subplot written and inserted I can start going through and making changes to certain scenes that need changes. Hopefully I’ll be able to start making those changes by the end of this month.

Once I’ve gone through on my own to make changes, I’ll need a little help. I’d like about 4-6 beta readers to read over the manuscript and give feedback and make suggestions before I make my final edits and send the manuscript off to an agent or publisher. If anyone is interested in being one of those beta readers please contact me either through the sight or through the Emily Randolph-Epstein Facebook page.

I would like readers who are somewhat familiar with the fantasy genre as well as readers who have the time to read through a five hundred page manuscript and make comments on it. I’d like to start my final edits before the end of this year, so if you don’t think you can read through the manuscript fast enough, please don’t submit yourself for consideration.

Thank you for reading.
